Hey there, my name is Caitlin and I have been raising rabbits since 2019 when I got my first two rabbits a Netherland Dwarf and a Lionhead/Holland Lop. These two bunnies were supposed to be males but we quickly found out that one was a female and had an accidental litter on the way. Sadly that litter didn't make it due to some complications, but momma was okay and that's was what mattered the most. Shortly after I rescued a Holland Lop mix who had a litter of 9 babies! I quickly fell in love with the breed and learned all I could. Years later I now breed pedigreed Holland Lops and Netherland Dwarfs to the ARBA Standard of Perfection. I prioritize health, temperament, and quality over quantity. My bunnies are handled daily and make amazing pets, 4H bunnies, breeding stock, and show bunnies. My Rabbitry is named after my heart bunny, Ebony Rose. She passed in 2023 and is missed dearly. Rest is peace my beautiful girl.

Ebony Hearts Rabbitry Purchase Process

Before deciding to bring a rabbit home, please do appropriate research on rabbit care, make sure you are allowed to own rabbits where you live, and make sure everyone in the household is in agreement before you start looking. Bringing a rabbit home is a big commitment, a bunny requires daily care and can live for 8-12 years.

If you are interested in purchasing a rabbit from Ebony Hearts Rabbitry, please visit our for sale page to see if we currently have anything available. If we have something that piques your interest please read our sales policy and go ahead and send us an email, text message or Facebook message. I will have a couple questions to ask you about your previous experience with bunnies, about how you plan to house, feed and take care of bunny.

After we have talked for a bit and I feel the bunny your interested in would fit your household we can setup a time to meet. I can meet in a public place in Klamath Falls. I operate a closed rabbitry for the safety and health of my farm. I will hold a bunny for 3 days without a deposit unless otherwise discussed. If we meet and you decide none of the rabbits are a good fit for you, then please let me know. We want you to be happy with the rabbit you get. Keep in touch and we can hopefully pair you with the perfect bunny later on.

If you have found the perfect bunny for you, depending on the age of the bunny we may require a non refundable deposit ($20) to hold until he is of age. We do not let bunnies under 8 weeks leave our care. If you aren’t ready to bring a rabbit home right then, with a deposit I will hold the bunny for up to 2 weeks.

We don’t allow rabbits to leave without full payment.. When you are ready to take your bunny home please bring a carrier - a designated rabbit carrier, or a hard plastic cat carrier is best. Your bunny will love it if you add some hay for the drive. Upon pickup we will have paperwork for you to sign. We will also send/email you the rabbits birth certificate or pedigree (we do not send pet rabbits with pedigrees), transition pellets and if it's your first time purchasing from us we will give you a care guide.
